Llandilo - Opening A New Church

Articles
The usually quiet little village of Llandilo presented quite a busy appearance on the occasion of the opening of a new school-church, and the holding of a tea meeting and concert. A large number were present to witness the opening ceremony, which was performed by the Ven Archdeacon Langley, a number of local clergymen also being present. In his report (of which there is a transcript), Rev Dixon Hudson paid tribute to all those who played a part in this worthwhile project. There were addresses from several dignitaries as well as local clergymen. A tea meeting and concert followed official proceedings. Detailed report.
