Colyton's Leeane Bartlett is a single mother of four, who thought she was behaving ethically, by submitting her payslips to Centrelink, so that they could monitor her regular pay increases and decreases. In return, Centrelink imposed six large debts upon Ms Bartlett. According to Chifley Labor MP, Roger Price, this is not an isolated occurence, with more than 12,687 families in Chifley being in debt to Centrelink.
