Households in the Mt Pleasant housing estate have connected to the internet through their TVs under the $350,000 state government plan to bridge the digital divide - Kim Yeadon, the minister for western Sydney and information technology, said 140 homes would be using TV by the end of the month to access new technology such as the internet and email.
