Mr T R Smith, has made up his mind to take up his abode in our neighbourhood. He will, as soon as completed, occupy his father's villa, Lemon Grove. Local Publicans hard at work to meet the provision of the new Licensing Act. Day and Evening Public Schools are flourishing. Building trade continues as brisk as ever. Police Court yesterday charged Matthew Stafford and William Cornish with being drunk. Mr Harford's dog had its throat cut and the matter is in the hands of the police.
