W G Sharp, who has been employed at the Penrith Locomotive Sheds for about seven years as a mechanic, was recently promoted to Newcastle in charge of a lathe. So quick was his transfer that there was no time for a formal presentation. However he was not forgotten by his fellow employees, who despatched a memento by post. Further particulars on their token of esteem.
