Two local families are celebrating after their newborns became the first arrivals in Penrith in 2012. Brooklyn Louise Abercrombie was born at Nepean Private Hospital on January 1. She weighed 3 kg and was 49cm long. She joins parents Rachael and Glen and brother Cooper in South Windsor. The first baby for Nepean Public Hospital was Logan Taylor Murphy who weighed 3.775 kg and joins parents Shelly Baker and Chris Murphy and siblings Kayden and Skylar at Hawkesbury Heights.
