On Wednesday night last at the Temperance Hall, Penrith, a variety entertainment was given by local amateurs in aid of Albert Payne, who has been unable to follow his usual occupation for some considerable time. Tribute paid to all performers, especially Vera Garner, a little dot of about 10 years of age. We predict big things for her in the near future!
