Mr James Connors, who has been a resident of Littlefields, Mulgoa, for the last 13 years, was found dead at his residence by a lad, Charles Skinner, son of a neighbour. From the evidence given at a magisterial enquiry, it was adduced that Mr Connors was about 58 years of age, was single, and had no relatives in the colony. He was, for some time, engaged by A W Stephen, late of Mulgoa, and owned a block of land on which was erected a two-roomed cottage. For several years the late Mr Connors acted as deputy returning officer at Mulgoa. He had been ailing for about five years, and at intervals was being attended by various doctors. Further details.
