Last week's Australian Republican Movement (ARM) Penrith forum launch at the Penrith Library Theatrette was a 'resounding success' with about 100 local residents attending - NSW ARM State Executive member and Penrith convenor Kylie Addison said the fact so many people pulled themselves away from their sport, family and friends on a Sunday to attend a meeting on the issue of the republic was a significant demonstration of support - She said Penrith Mayor Pat Sheehy, who officially opened the forum, moved the audience with his passionate messages on the Australian themes of mateship, egalitarianism and a fair go - Photo.
