There is a movement at Emu Plains in favor of separating that centre from the Blue Mountains Shire and adding it to Penrith Municipality. A deputation of Emu residents waited on Penrith Council and received a sympathetic hearing. The deputation comprised R Sheppard, C Spence, G Bunyan and E E Broadbent.
