Emu Plains - The Old School-house

Articles
On Wednesday last the old schoolroom next to St Paul's Church was disposed of by public auction. A Colless was the auctioneer, and there were about a dozen present, most of whom had received their primary education within the walls of the old building. Amos Parker became the purchaser at 9 pounds, 15 shillings. The building was erected some 37 years ago, and the majority of the timber was apparently as sound as when it was erected. The new building is fast approaching completion.
