NEPEAN RIVER - BATHING RESTRICTIONS

Articles
The bathing-in-the-river question was further ventilated at a special meeting of Penrith Council on Tuesday evening, when the councils recent action was vindicated. They met in connection with the pollution of the towns water supply, and decided to prevent bathing within 1/2 mile on the south of the pumping main and 300 yards on the northern side. Blue Mountains Council told them off for placing signs along the western side of the river.
