On Sunday last, Charles James Evans, the second son of Mr C J Evans of the Railway Dept, died at his parents residence Henry Street, Penrith, at the age of 22. He had caught a cold while working in Moree and came home to recuperate. His condition worsened and Dr Higgins attended. The funeral was on Monday afternoon at St Stephens Church of England cemetery. Rev E Hargrave officiating.
