Mr John Shand who left Rooty Hill to reside in Sydney is seriously ill. The site of the proposed Mulgoa Hall is to be planted with trees and residents congregated with the necessary tools to do the work. Mr G Besley Snr returned on Monday after a 6 month visit to the old country. Mr Rod Dempsey and young Mr Colless of Emu Plains were involved in a collision on Mulgoa road recently. Mrs Beatson departed this life last Saturday aged 53 years. Short obituary in this column includes family hotel licences.
