A report of the death of Adam Jones, an old and highly respected engineman, who had worked in the English, Indian, NSW and Westralian railway services. He had resided in King Street Penrith for very many years. He eventually went to West Australia to live and his first wife died there. A year later he married the widow of Mr James Watson, another old Penrith engineman, and the couple decided to tour the world. It was not to be however, as Adam Jones died while driving a train from Perth to Fremantle. He was 60 years of age.
