Changes to the consumer credit code will do away with the maze of information which confronts borrowers, said NSW Fair Trading Minister John Aquilina - He said the new rules required lenders to provide information on interest rates and changes so consumers can compare costs - Banks had created such a maze that an accountant was needed just to understand what they offered, he said.
