Mr Michael Long, Mayor of Penrith, Alderman A W N Judges, and Mr A W Stephen have been gazetted magistrates of the colony. Mr William Beach and his trainer Peter Kemp arrived at Penrith this week and made arrangements to say at Mr Squires' Hotel. Case against Mrs Hoffman fell through. About 40 local persons joined the Sydney Hunt Club at their run. A kangaroo rat and a dingo were let loose for the hounds to chase.
