More than 21,000 tins of food were collected in the Nepean district for the 1971 Smith Family community food drive. The drive was held from November 29 to December 10, as part of a State-wide appeal by the Smith Family. 'The Nepean collection was an outstanding success', district director, Mr. Peter McKern, said this week.
