Last week's bushfires in rural areas at Llandilo and Londonderry have highlighted the urgency of proposals to establish Community Fire Units in the Emu Plains and Emu Heights area - A report to Penrith City Council's meeting this week said NSW Fire Brigades had received inquiries to set up three Community Fire Units in Emu Plains and Emu Heights.
