All businesses selling food to the public in Penrith are being asked to review their handling and safety pratices as a result of new standards set by the Australia New Zealand Food Authority (ANZFA) and released earlier this year - To help educate business owners about the new regulations, Penrith Council has produced a Food Safety Standards Kit, which outlines the health and hygiene responsibilities of food handlers - The kit was launched at Nepean TAFE earlier this month to mark Food Safety Week - For a copy of the kit phone public health officer Kelly De Mattia on 4732 7528.
