A short obituary for Mrs Ann Thomson, wife of James Thomson of Upper Henry Street who died on Sunday at the age of 70 years. She was born in Ireland on 30 November 1835, a daughter of the late Maurice Owen. Came to NSW when 9 years old and later moved to St Marys where she married her husband, a son of the late Walter Thompson. They came to Penrith to live 32 years ago. There are 5 sons and 3 daughters and her husband also survives her, besides 30 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
