The NSW Premier, Mr R W Askin, officially opened a $500,000 hotel-motel at North St Marys recently. The hotel-motel was built by Millers Pty Ltd on a 5 acre site in Government Road. Mr D Walker, the general manager of Millers Pty Ltd, s aid that this was the 43rd opened by Millers, & the 18th within the last 10 years. Site was chosen because it was near the St Marys Industrial area. The hotel, built in 16 weeks, was intended as a community centre for the area.
