Notice given of an intention, by Alderman Jas. Blaikie of moving a number of motions at the next Council meeting. Motions are :1) That Mr J. Elliott (Clerk of Works), be given the additional duty of collecting sanitary fees. 2) That the services of Mr. A. Hand, assistant clerk, be dispensed with. 3) That the Mayor be asked to resign.
