Two Old Buildings with a Single Fate - Photographs

Articles
An article and two photographs of houses shorty to be pulled down. One is in Riley Street, giving way to a new street which will be an extension of Henry Street. The present Riley Street - Great Western Highway junction will be reconstructed to allow access at an angle to the highway. The second building is on the corner of Bringelly Road and Great Western Highway. That building has been used for 50 years as the Kingswood Post Office and store. Plans submitted by Mr L R Towns for a modern two storey brick post office and residence have been approved by Penrith Council.
