Work begins on the redevelopment of the emergency department at Nepean Hospital tomorrow - The emergency department will relocate from its current position in West Block to a temporary location in the North Block wing of the hospital, entered from the old Somerset Street entrance - This temporary relocation makes way for the $8.6 million redevelopment of the hospital's emergency department scheduled for completion by April 2004 - Wentworth Area Health Service CEO Martin Bowles said this would double the capacity of the existing department while providing additional benefits to both staff and patients.
