Before Mr Single & Dr Bond. James Peckham pleaded not guilty to a charge of using obscene language on the Great Western Road on 16 April. The offence was proved by Constable Bessington, & due to previous convictions, the accused was fined 10s, & 5s 6d costs, or in default, 7 days in Parramatta Gaol. Fine paid.
