The usual fortnightly meeting of the Penrith District Progress Association, was held at the School of Arts on Thursday last.Discussion of a report, on improved facilities required for Penrith's train service to the city, and better access to the river and erecting dressing sheds for bathers. Suggestion to form a War Savings group was agreed.Letter of appreciation to be sent to Mrs Costello and her assistant, Miss M Ezzy, for samples of spinning works, that has been displayed in the window of a prominent city establishment.Further discussion on better use of the old public school buildings.
