A very esteemed resident of St Marys, Mr Edward Williams (77) was fatally injured when struck by a passing car on the Western Road on Saturday evening. Deceased was born at Llandilo and was a carpenter by trade. He was living in Sydney and Newcastle for many years and returned to this district about eight years ago. H ewas twice married, his second wife dying three years ago.
