A concert, under the auspices of the local Temperance body, was held in the Protestant Hall, St Marys. Rev E King of Penrith presided and there was a very good attendance. The audience was treated to a piano duet, recitations, a short speech, popular songs, comic songs, and a farce - 'Apartments To Let'. A recitation, touching and full of pathos, given by Miss Addison in her usual masterly style, was one of the best items of the evening. All performers and their items named.
