A report of the death of Allen Burleigh at the Nepean Hospital aged 62 years. He was a native of Craithie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and had been a resident of Penrith for 29 years. He was better known as Scotty Allen, who did a lot of work locally as a carpenter. He was buried in the Presybterian portion of Penrith Cemetery.
