The District Coroner, Mr A Judges, held an inquiry at Penrith Court House on the 23 December, 1919, into the circumstances of the death of Mrs Annie Clarke, who was burnt to death in a fire at Castlereagh Street, Penrith, on 16 December 1919. A verdict of death from burns accidentally received was returned.
