Before Mr Cleeve & Dr Duncan, JP's. Samuel Thomas, alias Sir Thomas, (on remand) was charged with stealing a roll of carpet, valued at 30s, the property of Mr Neale, of South Creek. Depositions were made by Constable Sykes, William John Berkeley Neale, Henry Burgess. The Bench sentenced him to 4 months in Parramatta Gaol. More details in article.
