Helping women inmates adjust from prison life to the community was the aim of the new transition centre opened at Emu Plains Correctional Centre yesterday - Bolwara House was offically opened by NSW Correctional Services Minister Richard Amery before an audience of more than 40 community leaders - The $1.06 million facility is located in the minimum security complex and features five domestic style cottages to enchance the transitional process and enable women to receive weekend or longer term visits from their children without the traditional jail environment, Mr Amery said - Photo by David Hill.
