On Tuesday last at the Penrith Police Court, before J K Cleeve, Henry Wake, Council Clerk at St Marys, was proceeded against for hindering an assessor (A W Stephen) by refusing to allow him access to the books of the Council. Full details and P M's finding that Wake had refused access to the books conscientiously, but he would have to impose a penalty and Court costs
