When a saddle hack broke away, it frightened J Hope's horse (standing outside his store in the delivery van), which in turn made way down Mamre Road with the vehicle in tow, thence into Sainsbury Street and Princess Street, where it collided with Mrs Morrison's palisading, which brought the horse to a standstill, when it was taken charge of.
