OBITUARY - JOHN CANE

At the Nepean Cottage Hospital, Penrith, on Thursday of last week, John Cane, at the age of 74, passed from this life. A native of Ireland, a resident of this district for over 40 years. He was a single man with no known relatives in the State. He was a farm labourer in his earlier years, being employed by the late John Price, the late J Woodland (Japonica's father) and the late Thomas Cross. He was buried in Sir John Jamisons' cemetery, Regentville.
