Mrs Annie Reid, daughter of the late Matthew Clark, was born Sussex Street, Sydney. Married Michael Reid in 1848. They first started in the baking business at the site of Neales Store, then moved to premises at Cross Roads (Kingswood) where they kept a hotel for 3 years. Moved back to Penrith & established a Butchery, Bakery and general store on the site where she died, having resided there for 30 years. Leaves husband,85 and 7 adult children.
