At St Marys, on Saturday last, the Lees' Shield and Thompson Medals, together with trophies presented by Messrs T R Smith, W Armstrong and P Lamming, were formally presented to the various winners. The presentation took place at the Volunteer Hotel. Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the Castlereagh and St Marys Clubs - the winners and runners-up in last season's competitions - met in the first round of this season's matches.
