A century old Bunya pine has been scheduled for destruction because it is considered a risk to residents - The 25 metre tall, one metre wide tree is at Kunipipi Reserve in St Clair - The tree is on Penrith Council's register of significant trees but there are fears it could topple over because of a large cavity at its base discovered in 1996.
