An application for a five-storey block of 39 flats at Werrington has been labelled 'monstrous' and :greedy' by a local developer and the Cambridge Park/Werrington Residents Association - A council officer confirmed he had received 12 submissions from nearby residents opposing the development on the grounds of size and scale, traffic and parking, overshadowing and privacy - He said the application would go before Penrith Council in February or March - Photo by Gary Warrick.
