The first Australian stage production of The Who's rock opera Tommy has been cancelled, and the producers say it could mean the end of their Blue Mountains' based company - Out of the Blue director David Hollywood said the cancellation of Tommy at Panthers' Evan Theatre could cripple the company - Tommy, due to open on June 11, was cancelled after a fire caused extensive damage to the theatre - July 17 was then sited as the possible new opening date - On Tuesday, Panthers' suggested alternative dates for the Tommy season.
