Ordinary meeting of Council. Before dealing with the motions on the business paper the Mayor presented the bond for the personal guarantee of 500 pounds to the Commercial Bank, stating that unless this was signed by a majority of aldermen he would rule all motions out of order. The Aldermen refused to sign.
