A report on the tree planning ceremony which commenced the celebrations for Centenary of Public Education in NSW celebrations at Penrith. The tree planting in the new school grounds was to be followed by the opening of the Free Public Library and then the big Continental. This report is accompanied by photographs of the Old Henry Street School; Mr E C Edwards; the late Mr D T Wiley; and the new Penrith Central School.
