Glossop Street and Wattle Avenue/Telford Place, North St Marys - Proposed Construction of Seagull Island - Council proposes to construct a seagull island with supplementary 'Stop' signs at the intersection of Glossop Street and Wattle Avenue/Telford Place, North St Marys, to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection - The Roads and Traffic Authority, under its 2002/2003 Black Spot Improvement and Urban Amenity Programme, has granted funding for the construction of this facility - A design plan of the proposed facility is currently on display at Council's office, Civic Centre, 601 High Street, Penrith - If you have any comments regarding the proposal, please don not hesitate to contact Council's Senior Traffic Engineer, Rosemarie Barretto, on 4732 7578, or submit written comments to Council no later than 11 March 2003.
