Law report. Supreme Court : Saddington v Hackett

Articles
In 1876, Hackett applied to bring the land, known as Victoria Square, under the Real Property Act, but local opposition led to tanner, Robert Saddington filing a caveat against Hackett's application. The court found the land had been in continuous use as public land since 1842 and was therefore dedicated to the public by deed.
