A heavy engineering company at St Marys is again helping to improve the State Rail timetable - Plasser Australia has built a $6m machine which offers the latest technology in track maintenance - Called a Tamper it was officially delivered to the state government last Friday in a ceremony at the company's Plasser Crescent Factory - NSW transport minister Carl Sculley accepted delivery of the new machine saying he expected the Tamper to improve State Rail's current 92percent on time running -
