Penrith City Council recognises the outstanding achievements of people in sport, business, community services, culture and the environment and civic categories on a Wall of Achievement located in Penrith Central and St Marys Libraries - The Wall of Achievement is a way in which Council and the community can recognise the significant achievements that these local people have made to the community - Many people in the Penrith area have achieved great things - Some have had recogniation from their peers, some have made these contributions without fuss and without much thought of themselves - Others are your typical quiet achievers - Nominations for the 2004 wall of Achievement Awards, to be presented by the Mayor in July, will close on Friday, 30 April 2004 - Nomination forms area available from Council's Facilities Operation Department, Penrith and St Marys Customer Service Centre or on the web www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au - For more information ring Andrew Robinson on 4732 7688.
