The people of Lindsay are now without a representative in Federal Parliament as a result of this week's High Court decision in Free vs Kelly- On Wednesday, Chief Justice Gerard Brennan ended weeks of speculation ruling that in the March 2 election, the Liberal Party's Jackie Kelly was not eligible to be elected.
