I am looking forward to opening the Childrens Memorial Garden at Penrith Cemetery on Saturday, 12 October - Members of the public are welcome to attend the opening & dedication commencing at 10.30am - Between 1910 & 1981, babies & paupers were buried in unmarked rows in the cemetery without an epitaph or memorial - The new garden honours the memory of children & babies buried in this manner.
