Biography/History:
Fiona McIntosh was born in Brighton, England. At the age of nineteen, Fiona traveled first to Paris and later to Australia, where she has lived ever since. In 2001, her first novel—volume one of a fantasy trilogy—was published and since then she has written fourteen bestselling fantasy novels. Her first crime novel, Bye Bye Baby, was published in 2007 and was followed by Beautiful Death, featuring the same key character, popular DCI Jack Hawksworth. Fiona has since written several fantasy novels for children but is increasingly known for her bestselling historical fiction. She has a passion for making great coffee and for all forms of baking, as well as an addiction to chocolate. When she is not globetrotting, Fiona splits her time between South Australia and Tasmania. She is married with twin sons and two crazy dogs.
